I'm looking to get a reasonably-priced LCD display, which I intend to use for mostly web work, possibly some print layout.

I can't use an Apple display (no ADC), but the NEC/Mitsubishi 1810X and Eizo L565 seem to fit the bill. Both have DVI-D, and are around 700.

Anyone who has experience of these displays, please let me know your opinions.

Thanks!

What computer do you have? There is a way to get ADC to work older Macs, I think its called DVIator by Dr. Bot. I'm not sure about those displays though, having used the 17" flat from Apple

I have a Sawtooth G4, but I don't fancy buying an adaptor for 100+ just so I can use an Apple monitor. If I had an ADC Mac I'd definitely go for the Apple. Naturally, the casing is not as impressive on the others, but they still have digital input and a nice big screen.

If Apple would only drop the price of the 17" Display to something like 550, I'd gladly get one.
