Here's a little project I've been working on.
As of now, it's running Jaguar, Panther's coming soon. I don't think I'll go back to Tiger on this one. It will most likely be a media server for holding movies, music, etc. I'll get some more pictures up soon so you can see the final product. I had to ditch the SCSI hard drive because it's pretty much dead, so my plans are a tad changed.

Here's the finished product! It's running panther fine now, Software Update is getting me up to speed. I'll put a second hard drive in as soon as the updates are done and then it's finished. The initial plan was to have the lights placed behind the apple logo so it would glow, but the pattern was not even so I moved them to the front. The lights are wired to the Zip power cord and the square red button on front turns them on and off.

Nice picture frame 5300. I have a Pbook G3 300 sitting on my floor being fixed. I have an urge to make it into a nice 14in picture frame and impress all my friends with it.
Cool stuff man. Props on the collection of Macs. Reminds me of my poor collections... now sold off... or in boxes... in Wisconsin... sniff...
