Don't know if anyone else has seen this, but a client of ours purchased 4 1Ghz TiBooks at the end of the summer (from Apple) just before the AlBooks were released. 3 of the 4 have developed the white spots on the displays. They are being sent back to Apple.

Interesting. It looks like there was a more general production problem @15".

Yes, that's what I was thinking, too.

I posted this along time ago, when I had gone thru the white spot problem. My friends 15 inch ti pb has tons of white spots. As I am now going on my fourth powerbook in a couple of weeks here, I really don't know what to do.
I will probably have to extend my 3 year warrenty now.

I posted about this in the past also. I got my Ti a month before the new ones came out and I had white spots. They replaced the screen and all is fine now. I did have to send it back due to the top (outside) of screen not fitting right and talked to a product specialist at that time. He told me the screens for the last Ti and the New PB's were the same but, of course, used different bezels.

Looks like a bad batch of screens.

Interesting!

I bought my TiBook at the same time as you... it had the spots. Apple fixed it, and it's been fine ever since.

I had a Ti that developed white spots as well, though mine was a Nov 2002 model. I always thought that was weird.
