Have a 5 week old MBP and have been using it with a 21" NEC CRT monitor in tiled image configuration. Noticed a few days ago that the LCD has developed a shadow on one side. Is this likely caused by its proximity to the 21" screen? (about 3") Question: IF so what is a safe working distance of the laptop screen for CRT monitor

3 inches is too close. The MacBook Pro is messing it up. Whenever I hook my TiBook up to my CRT TV and it is close it makes the screen darker or discolored. I just move it to wherever the spots go away, which is about a foot sometimes more.
