Any version of Photoshop has it, or has it available.

Eug has been on these boards for a long time and contributed many times, especially commenting and dismissing fake material - so I tend to believe him. Besides this is the time when Apple (or it employees) slip on products coming up in January.

But will I purchase it? No, I'm still old school when it comes to phones - no camera built-in, no (what I consider useless) do -dads that only add bulk to a something that I use to only talk on.

Okay, but Eug never said he thought this was real. I'm guessing he started this thread 'cause he thought it was an especially laughable fake. Especially given the quotation marks in the thread title. And he probably would've put this in Peripherals if he was buying it.

I call Fake too.

It took some real talent to enhance that ad. If I met that person, I'd shake their hand.

When all else fails, lens flair will make a bad (or fake) photo a good one.

I'm the one that 'enhanced' the ad.

What's that ad from, a how-to-abuse-the-lens-flare-filter-in-Photoshop thread or something?

Yeah, I never said I thought it is real. I think it's fake.

Anyways, at this point I'm more interested in a widescreen iPod. I was using my iPod 5G on the train yesterday to watch movies, and the screen was a just a little too small for 2.35:1 movies. It was fine for 640x480 stuff though.

From a torrent, was told the design was from Frog Studios.

True, I'm sure Apple has something REALLY different up its sleeves. I personally would like the iPod-Nano form factor rather than the iPod Video. Its interesting to see which image leak would come closet to the actual product, hopefully by January.

Interesting. That's pretty close to what I had been envisioning. ie.

Slider, which looks like an iPod in normal mode but slides open to reveal the keypad. I would have guessed a camera would be on the back though, and wouldn't require sliding open the phone. Plus, it wouldn't look as drab as in that picture.

I don't like their idea of a two-sized screen though. I'd want the screen to be that big all the time, not just when the phone is open. That would be very annoying when watching videos.

I'm definitely with you on that last part; I await the results with bated breath. Especially since I've been putting off getting a new phone 'til I see what Apple can come up with.

Anyway, I doubt that image is even a mockup from Frog, because I'm sure anyone who worked there would try and make the screenshot more Apple-like..
