have mail that comes with leopard.

I keep getting loads of blank emails with no sender it is sending about 20 every minute and so is clogging up my in box fast.

when I check the same account by internet webmail these messages are not there.

can anyone help?

nothing they are completely blank




above is how they look as part of the list of emails that come in and below is one opened next to a normal one.



hope people can see the images if not will look a better site to show them on.

I am really worried it will clog my system or something as so many of them are coming in every minute.

Choose View > Message > Raw Source and see what you get.

Had this happen where I work earlier this year. No real cure, but it did eventually stop.

raw source gives nothing as well they are blank emails like ghosts...


IMAP and its only on the new mail from leopard my old one does n't do it and its not on the web account.

like you said it is a work account any significance?

The ones we had did have some small bit of text. Did a Google search and found the string from other people seeing the same "messages."

Have you tried deleting prefs or rebuilding the mailbox?

Email box was overloaded.

once IT had increased quota and emails been deleted then problem had stopped.

simple email box is full would have done!!
