Yeah... I have a friend who has an iPhone and an iPod (no iPad), but his use case is really weird.

His music is all at work, and was long before he had an iPhone, so he set up a home situation where he plugs his iPod into his stereo or his alarm clock.

Once he got an iPhone, it made sense to keep the streams separate. Beaming music from his iPod would kill his battery, and he doesn't have wifi at home anyways (no computer, doesn't care about Netflix).

IMHO, the only iPod that has any unique use case is the Shuffle. It's perfect for listening while mowing the lawn or stuff like that. Small and inobtrusive. Clips on. Battery lasts forever. Cheap. No touchscreen. Just music.

The nano has a radio. My father has one (he had my old for a long time until it finally broke, and then bought a new one) and he uses it almost exclusively as a radio. The iPhone supposedly has an FM receiver, but for some reason it is not activated.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

The supposed explanation is it won't work with Bluetooth headphones, so they don't bother activating it.

To be specific, Bluetooth headphones lack a cable, which is what acts as the antenna.
