Hey dudes ---
I'm soooo tempted to get this thing, now that it has the DVI support
I'm all set up for FCP editing ---- G5 for rendering and DVD burning, and a 17" for mobile work
however, I take my laptop EVERYWHERE with me throughout the day..... and my back is starting to kill me
I don't wanna sell the 17" though --- its my fav toy!
So is it logical to have a G5, 17, and 12?? or is that simply stooopid?? I guess I could always invest in a better backpack, but messenger bags are soooo cool!

in true californian fashion you should get it.
Its a nice machine and the resell value is always another reason to buy one

I want a G5 and one of all three PowerBooks. Does that make me crazy? 
Now, what makes FINANCIAL sense is a personal matter... for me, I think I'll have to make do with one PowerBook!
But I DID consider getting a 12" and then hanging onto it for portability in a year or so when I got a 17" PBG5.
Instead, I think I'll just get a 17" G4 and shop again in a couple years.
