OK, that sounds pretty sweet. I may have to stop by tomorrow and grab one. Thanks.

Just got home from the Apple Store in Burlington, Mass empty-handed. I was pretty surprised. When they say "available today" don't the stores usually already have the stuff in stock and are just waiting to put it out on display? A few months ago I got my 2.4 MBP at the same store just a few hours after they were announced. I asked a salesperson when they would have iLife/iWork, and she said, "Soon." Whatever that means.

Serves me right for wasting my day by not calling ahead, but this is one product release that I wouldn't expect them to be unprepared for.

The Memphis, TN (Saddle Creek in Germantown) tells me they will not have them out until late Friday - they tell me this after someone in the store tells me they got them at 4:00 on Tuesday.

Frustrating to have them in the store but they will not stock them out. I don;t know why they would want to wait 3+ days....

I've seen discussion of people waiting to buy a Mini, to get the included iLife and install on their other systems. I think Apple included the iLife CD in previous iterations.

But, my parents just bought a 24" iMac, and their system didn't include the iLife CD. It's pre-installed, and it apparently on the recovery disks.

Just an FYI.. looks like everyone will need cough up the cash for iLife, or the family pack if you're doing multiple systems.
