I really wanna get it but I'm afraid the performance will be horrible. Anyone have it and played it? What machine/specs do you have? I have 400mhz G4 PowerMac so I'm just under the 500mhz requirement. Also, is the game worth it...it looks awsome! Hopefully I'll be getting a new machine in the next year or so (come on 970!!) and then I'll get it for sure.

Its not out until May so mac users won't have it. I'm going to get it when its out though, looks good!

I've got a TiBook 800Mhz with 32Mb Video card so hopefully it will work ok.

Saw a review of it on Extended Play for the PC, think it got a 3 out of 5. Great graphics and gameplay as usual. Performance was a bit slow according to them, hopefully it will be NOTHING like 3000 though.

As for when it'll be out, I got a bit worried over the weekend. I went by the game status update page and SC 4 had disappeared. Wrote to Aspyr and it's back and in beta, set for release next month. There's a thred about it in the games forum. I'm excited about it too.

I heard after the population hits something like 300k it slows way down. I'm expecting it to be a real big resource hog. I wonder if it will be enabled for duallies...

10K-30K actually....

I really doubt it will be DP aware, but we will get a small boost overall.

I really wish our Duron didn't have a **** fit the otherday, I got the CD"s and was going to check it out. Guess I'll have to get this POS back up soon.
