If anything, I'd at least wait until it is closer to a suspected date for the new iPhone. If history shows us anything its that a used iPhone that can be jailbroken is always worth money.

All iPhones are jailbreakable. This thing is going to be as worthless as a 3GS as soon as an expected iP5 day is suspected about.

Gazelle.com will still buy your "worthless" 3GS for $175. Looks like there's still a market for them, jailbroken or not.
I think it would be silly to go without a phone until September.
