Really sorry if this has been asked before ....

I have Office 2001, and when I insert a movie into Powerpoint I can have the option of a control strip below, but only when I'm setting up the slide .... when I try to present it, the control strip goes, and whilst I can get the movie to play auto in the slideshow .... it would be very nice to be able to use a controller to play the movie step by step, backwards etc in my lectures on occasions to help my students understand the point I'm trying to make......

am I missing something / doing something wrong??
Is this a feature that has been added to Office X, or indeed 2004, and thus I need to upgrade my software???

oooh .....fingers crossed with 2004 then!!!!
Looks like I'll have to stick with an HTML link and jump out into an app that does, just for the duration of those specific movies, just like real player movie files and swf etc that I do at the moment...

Just a thought ..... does Keynote have the option of a control bar on inserted movies??

When I need to do this, I just stop the PowerPoint presentation and show the movie from the slide.
