Well, my english isn't either all that good, but it looks like it is all that important to pay credit where credit is due.

Bombia: I like your icons a lot and I am sorry about some people's attitude. BTW, have any idea when will we see the much awaited "dark days" set?

[EDIT:] Oh, never mind. I see you are trying to sell the free wallpapers as a CD for USD$25.00.

God, I am sick of cmove's snobby ways. Phil is right: it is courteous to give credits to the authors.

Just a few moments ago I said "hey" to cmove on AIM and all he replied was with "no" and then went offline.

No wonder Mac users get a bad name for having a superiority complex.
Cheers,
Nick.

He doesn't really speak english and doesn't want to bother trying to. He is not acting snobby, just doesn't want to translate everything. It really isn't a big deal.

well see i don't think he is being snobby, like when he said "so sorry" most people will think thats snobby but i actually really think he doesn't know how to word it correctly.

the original complant was not that he didnt give credit to the authors but he didnt list them when he posted. which most of us dont do. now next time when he DID post the info he again worded things incorrectly and said icon by me refurreing to the icon he modded (which was wrong, but i don't think he understood that. maybe i am wrong. and maybe everyone else is right, but i just think its all a misunderstanding. i have seen cmove around alot of different forums for a long time now and he seems like a nice guy.

Fair enough, that makes sense, thanks. So, I retract my comments.

I still find it rather strange to say "no" when someone greets you in a friendly manner. Hmm.

I don't think anyone should get offended by something a 16-year-old kid who does not speak English well at all writes in his posts I think his replies are sometimes very funny because they seem either blatently rude or read like complete nonsense He does post very nice screenshots though, let's give him that.

Hi all ,
my name is Crni and unfortunately I do not own a Mac so you're looking at WinXP
desktop with ObjectBar port of GUipod.
I'm posting WinXp desktop in Mac desktop thread cause I'm trying to get in touch with Swiz
and ask him for his permission to release my ports.I know he doesn't care for community others the Mac
(as he stated on his homepage)
but lots of people sees my ports and wants it (I get so many PM's on others forums that I quit replaying to them).
I really would like for him to tell me yes or no rather then just ignore my attempts to contact him
(I've mailed him through form on his page,PM him here and on FunMac forum but if he's missed my post I hoppe he wont miss this one).I'm using this as last resort and promise that this will be my first and last nonMac post in this forum.
You can check all of my ports HERE.
Max and Kevin MacLeod already gave me theirs permission,(tnx Kevin for helping) and I'm still trying to contact Izawa regarding Shinobi port,so if he see this please contact me at : [email protected]

sorry for disturbance and take care

It is very nice. I will add another line to the description on my website that says "port and distribute as you like while noting that the port is inspired by but unrelated to Swizcore Studio." Sorry I didnt respond to your email request but the volume of those emails I receive are insane.

Evil GUI work !

A lot of good guys died to bring you that
OSX Apple look and this just allows more
to be blessed with GUI heaven and remain
in a windowed world and in turn shove
more cash through the gates of williams

Yes yes yes. Normally I'd have replied something like this to seeing a Windoze screenshot on an OS X forum, but I was quite impressed with Crni's work. Most Windoze shots are pure crap, but this one actually came out pretty well. Here's someone who admires that Mac and devotes this much time to making his port look perfect and has the chutzpah to post his work in front of such harsh GUI critics as ourselves. I thought he deserved a little pat on the back.

Maybe some day he'll truly come into the light.
