What is the best TiBook battery replacement as far as price and power and speedy delivery? I need to get a couple of them fast but don't want to get stuck with some three year old half dead POS as I already have two of those. Please tell me a good place to get them fast these days!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

I have the battery from the above link. It looks and fits just like the original Apple battery, and the battery life is very good. In my 1 GHz TiBook, I get close to 4 hours of usage with processor set to reduced, brightness at about half and Airport on. I've played a full DVD and then used the machine for another hour without discharging it totally.

I've had it for 5 months now, and am very happy with it.

When I got my TiBook 1Ghz, my battery life used to be very good---normal use of 4 hours with no problem, sometimes even pushing 5. Two years has gone by, now is around 3 hours, which still isn't so bad. I'll get a new battery for my powerbook because most likely I'll be keeping this one for a while.

Anyone else have used this battery?

Besides this one. What other kind of battery replacement for Tibook did you use? Anyone?

I recently purchased the NewerTech 4800 mAh battery from OWC

http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_It...=NWTBAPT4800LI

I am two charges in to the 5 charge optimazation process and the battery is now reporting a capacity of 4825 mAh (on a battery rated 4800!). When at idle this morning, the computer was reporting a remaining time of 5 hrs 30 min. after about 30 min of use. Not sure it's the "best," but so far I've been very pleased.

Specs:
TiBook
667 mhz
Gigabit (not DVI)

Thanks for the info. So guess I'll get at least 5 hours for my Tibook 1Ghz. then.
