Does anybody know how to get a really great online experience playing Scrabble? I tried a few Java-based programs but they're very clunky (One system was so mac-unfriendly that I couldn't type commands because the field wouldn't empty).
Advice?

Best scrabble game bar none! Good price, friendly community (sometimes you even get to play the chap who programmed it! Nice fellow) and lots of customization.

Looks great. I also found a very nice, free, online version here. Register and you'll be presented with a list of games that includes Scrabble. Very busy, and somewhat buggy lobby system, but if you can get into a game, it runs nicely.
