Large fish weighing 340 kg

Supposedly it's a giant gruper. Anyone think this is real or fake?

I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

The real question is: how does it taste?

So it weighs 750lbs. and this little man is casually holding the whole front of the body up with that pole?

Plus it just LOOKS fake to me.
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

Giant grouper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maybe it's real but it looks fake in the picture to me.

I wonder if giant squid eat them, or sperm whales.

These are not deep water fish so no giant squids eating them. I thought sperm whales just ate plankton?

I'm pretty sure that sperm whales eat fish and squid.

Edit:
From wikipedia - 'They feed on several species, in particular giant squid, octopuses and diverse fish like demersal rays, but the main part of their diet consists of medium sized squid.'

I think the meat in that fish would suck. Bigger the fish, worse the meat. Especially un-tasty if the fish were fake.

If it is real that fish looks like it could eat a person. Quite possibly the worst way to go...

I think this thread reminds me of the old "Space Invaders" game. Every time a new alien or false notion about this fish or the photo or the physics appeared it only took one or two posts to shoot it down and convincingly, too! Quite impressive, actually.

I think I'd be pretty angry if a fish other than a shark or a giant squid tried to eat me. I would give him such an attitude! :grrr:

Wide-angled lens = larger fish

(Not that it wasn't a large fish to begin with, but most of these photos enhance sizes in some way - i.e. the Camel Spiders of Iraq a few years back).

It is no where near big enough. It doesn't even have teeth really nor is it that aggressive.

That's what weight belts are for.

Nice flotation devices, I'd canoodle them.
