OS X 1.0 is working great. On the public beta, I had my own smtp and pop server running. Can't seem to get it to work under OS X 1.0 I don't think sendmail is gettting the proper qualified host name. My machine is just coming up as localhost. How do I set my machine up with a qualified host name, i.e. mac.timsnetwork.org

Using OS X retail, this is done through "Net Info Manager" in your Utilities folder.

I know this is done throught netinfo manager. It's not exactly the most intuitive program out there. Just wondering if anyone has done this yet.

I haven't been able to get hostname changes via NetInfo Manager to appear to the UNIX side of the system. Edit the HOSTNAME line of /etc/hostconfig as root, and this should do it for you.
