I'm buying a MacMini and I was beefing it up to have the 500GB Hard Drive and $Gb Memory as well as the higher processor and it's not far off cost wise from the Mac Mini Server. I'll be using it as my computer and media center connected via HDMI with my TV. If I get the Server I can get two 500gb HD's & I don't need the Dvd rom as I already have one.

Anyways, back to my question .... will the Apple remote work with the Mac Mini Server. I know it works with the standard Mini?

Thanks!!

Sure. Note that you have to enable it in System Preferences > Security > General as the remote control infrared receiver comes disabled by default.

Read this in case you have the Apple Remote paired with other Mac.
