I'm tired of not knowing what happened to Abe, so I'd like to enlist the help of a professional detective to help us figure this out. For obvious reasons, if the detective you know happens to be Abe (who himself could be a detective, we don't know), please do not bother answering "yes" in this poll for obvious reasons. If Abe was a detective he wouldn't want to find himself. Please indicate your rates as well as qualifications so that I can pick the best candidate. As a candidate you will be given extra consideration if you would be willing to work on this for free, it will look good on your resumé.

I'm thinking that with the help of this detective(s) we could setup a little honeypot to get him to come back, because I hear that detectives frequently use honey pots to help them with things. I'm thinking that an effective honeypot would be a thread about how Ted Koppel is doing an Art Bell interview, or something like that.

I'm also thinking that maybe the mods could help with modifying the forum registration to include the question "are you Abe?" Abe liked to have several nicknames to fool people with, so this question would at least make him think that we are prepared to consider the fact that he might have new alter egos setup as a rouse.

Finally, since we know that he last lived in Aberdeen, WA, could we please get a mod to post a complete list of members and their last IP address? A nice table would make things readable, such as:

Code:
MacNN member last IP address geoIP lookup of IP Google Maps URL besson3c [my ip] [my location] [url to Google Maps]
Thanks guys!

Edit: I don't know what happened to the poll options, but they were supposed to be:

1) Yes
2) No, but I know a detective (excluding Abe)

Funny, last time I drove up to Washington, I thought about meeting him for coffee.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Why is it I didn't get poll options when I created this thread, but now they are there? There is definitely something fishy going on here, something that seems like a stunt Abe would pull... Coincidence?

Too bad you didn't, that would have been interesting!

P.S. how is the IP address list coming?

Is Abe still banned from the PWL?

If you guys saw it fit to give Rob another 2390482039 changes, I think it's only fair to give Abe another chance in the PWL. I vote for him being unbanned and invited back!

Yeah, that is why one of his secondary nicknames was "aberdeenwriter".

Abe was also:

- mojo2
- Cody Dawg
- Abe
- Tooki

What is Aberdeen like? Maybe this info will prove to be useful...

It's a pretty ghetto little town. About 30% is underneath the poverty line. It depends mostly on fishing/fisheries to survive. Kurt Cobain was born there.

I'm a little concerned that Abe is actually dead, maybe a Kurt Cobain copycat... If he was, I just hope he wasn't driven by the people in here teasing him for having gay sex. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but maybe he thought there was.

I would like for the mods to help set one final honeypot to lure Abe. What do you say, mods?

I hadn't been to Aberdeen in years. However, in the past couple of month or so I was there twice for my wife's grandfather who passed away. It is a depressed town economically, but growing up in Olympia, I love that part of the state.
