I've just set up a new mail account for my new domain and the domain server says that I need to use:
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.xxxxxxxxxxx.com (server requires authentication) port 26
Thing is there is nothing in the new mail box set up to check that port.
Perhaps someone knows where to look, for that setting, please ?

Very odd port number. What version of Postbox are you using, and are you using Postbox or Postbox Express?

(I don’t know how well-versed you are in Mail’s function, so you get the whole walkthrough here)
Go to Mail -> Settings (Cmd + ,)
Go to the Accounts tab and select this new mail account
Go to the Advanced tab on the right
In there, you have the option to choose which port to use.

Yes Oisin, I am and have the Mailbox up.
Although the
" the option to choose which port to use"
is only for the incoming mail server. There is no, outgoing port is not in there

Sorry, I must have been asleep when I read your post.
On the “Account info” tab (or whatever exactly it’s named in English), click on the Outgoing mail server dropdown menu and choose “Edit SMTP list”. Then choose the SMTP server you need to use for this mail account, and click on the Advanced tab. In there, you can specify the port number as well as the user name and password to use to connect to the server.
