My gf made the grave error of buying Shrek Mac & Cheese. She shan't be doing that again, I can tell you. The horror.

Viva la Kraft macaroni & cheese!

Also, I like the extra thin mac & cheese versus the thicker kind. It's hard to find the thin noodles, none of the major brands make it. It's almost always generic or off-brand.

I have a friend who likes to put a whole can of creamed corn into his Mac 'n Cheese. He stirs it up and eats it as some sort of twisted cheesy-corny-noodly-yellow mush.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Shut yer yaps Y'all!

As a licensed gourmet, let me tell you how it goes, which is like this:

- If your using elbow macaroni and baking it: you must use mozzarella and parmesean.
- if you're using elbow macaroni and doing stove top: you must use extra sharp white cheddar.
- if you're using shell macaroni and doing stove top: you must use a mild yellow cheddar.

Regardless, of preparation, it must be finished with fresh (ie your grate it yourself) black pepper.

Add-ins such a cubed cooked chicken, broccoli, diced carrots, corn, ect can only be applied to shell style.
What, me worry?

Over in the kosher world I don't have nearly as many options, but I have always made the box of mac and cheese by adding handfuls of the other shaped pastas I keep around (shells, twisty ones, ziti, anything goes). I like the variety and it spreads the cheesy chemicals over more food so it isn't as overwhelming.

gofridge does not see how there can be a "coorect" answer when all the choices are food.

Unless the correct answer is "all of the above."

I'm on Dakar time. It's similar to EST in that anyone outside it's general vicinity really doesn't give a damn.

Anyway the correct answer was Spirals. Spirals.

Regular is like missionary sex, boring and average. Straight out of the pot was also favored here, though obviously this hinges more on your living arrangement. However if it's a Sunday night and you're home alone, eating it off a plate is about as acceptable as tucking in a polo.

Ahhh...spirals was my vote, if I remember correctly.

You see, it's hard to remember since this was so long ago and this is not a public poll.

We clearly need to determine the best jelly for PB&J sammiches.

Actually, I don't like PB&J. I just like PB. On Aunt Millie's Cracked Wheat. With a side of Doritos. And a Coke.

You'd have to drink an entire 2-liter of Coke to simply work through the dryness of the PB.

A fellow heathen. Yeah, I just peanut-butter sandwiches (Though I probably haven't had one since high school). White bread only, though.

I've been rockin' the multi-grain bread with Jif PB (smooth, not crunchy) mixed with Smucker's grape jelly.

Mix it together in a bowl, apply an equal amount to each slice of bread, smack it together, and beeeeeauty ensues...

My wife makes fried PBJs from time to time. Messy, but incredible.

I don't eat a whole lot of mac and cheese, but when I do it's Annie's, usually the whole wheat variety. I like to add a healthy dose of cayenne pepper as well as some grated romano cheese to it. It's also very good with some breaded and fried tilapia on top, I usually just buy the frozen stuff from Trader Joe's.

There was no Annie's option, so I voted spirals.

and I usually add some parmesan as well.

But now, besides utinsels, you have a dirty bowl as well. And not all of us have a wife to do dishes for us. My method is to spread the PB on one side, squirt jelly on the other from the Smuckers squirt bottle, then use the same knife to spread it. Slap the slices together and I have only one utinsil to clean.

I just get the squirt bottles that have both peanut butter and jelly in the same bottle, squirt it directly into my mouth and then pop in a few Dunkin' Donuts munchkins to simulate bread.

Creamy PB with Huckleberry Jam, on wheat toast, with butter on each side. Then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the outside of sammich. Eat with glass of milk (real milk, not that nancy-boy soy crap).
