I noticed that if I turn on TCP/IP file sharing I get an URL for my machine (which I can't even select to copy!!). If you Show Balloons, it says that you can use that URL to open a server via a web browser. However, if you try and get that afp://whatever.mac.com and paste it in, say Netscape, it sends you to some damn website www.afp.com!!

My bad.. it SORTA works if u enter an AFP address in Internet Explorer. IE will open up the Network Browser and attempt to resolve the address. However, you can't open it up if you're on the same machine. I tried to open it on a networked PowerBook running 8.6 and it froze the ole' Network Browser 1.0. *shrug*
