Hi,
I just wanted to ask you people out there what might be wrong. I have been experiencing system failures on my Powerbook G4 (1.67GHZ, 1GB RAM; 100GB HDD). It happens when the display turns off for longer periods of time (about 30 minutes). I have to do hard reboot to get it working again. It happened once when i was listening to music and the computer completely froze up (one sequence of the music was looping, won't react to any input device, only reboot helped). I have already reset all the necessary things, etc. Any idea what could be the problem?
This has been the xth time I have been having problems with this machine (broken superdrive, failed hard drive, failed logic board and RAM).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Biest

Been there before Biest... I hope that you are calling Apple Care with this issue. If the problem persist have the Apple Care specialist to transfer you to an engineer who should be able to assist you a lot than tech support and plus if you have to call again you will be directed to that engineer...
If you have any more questions feel free to send me a PM

Called them, since I already am at the stage that I get transferred to an engineer right away (since everything but display and logic board has been replaced). Since I am moving I need to wait till i get to my new flat to get to lovely apple box for the 5th time now. At least they said they will give me a replacement if anything else happens...
Thanks for the reply jstein
