A bug in Android 4.2 has led to apps omitting the month of December. Phones and tablets updated to the latest version of the mobile operating system found that when using the People contacts app to enter a date of birth, the on-screen calendar skips from November to January, not even leaving a gap where December should be.

The bug has already been reported into the Android Bug Tracker, according to Android Police. While Google has acknowledged the bug, it has not been revealed when exactly the issue will be resolved, with the fix possibly being delivered as its own minor OS update, or as part of a larger update to Android 4.2.1.

Google should thank their lucky stars that only a tiny fraction (fragment?) of the Android user base has even heard of 4.2. Let alone upgraded to 4.2 (good luck with that.)
