As expected, Quark Software has shipped QuarkXPress 2015. In version 2015 users will find fast 64-bit architecture, industry-verified PDF/X-4 output, fixed layout interactive (app-like) eBook production as well as an array of the most user-requested features. The software continues to be a perpetual license. QuarkXPress now offers dual activation, meaning it can be installed on up to two machines and across Mac and Windows platforms. QuarkXPress 2015 retails for $849, and discounted upgrades are available from versions of QuarkXPress back to version 3.

Ergonis KeyCue 7.5 brings update improvements, stability and performance enhancements

Ergonis software has upgraded KeyCue to version 7.5. The new version has an improved update installer, internal updates to new library functions, improved handling of the custom shortcuts for KeyCue's Settings and Find Shortcuts, and an assortment of other fixes and changes. Version 7.5 is a "highly recommended" update for OS X 10.10 "Yosemite" users, and is a free upgrade for KeyCue 7 license holders. KeyCue retails for $20 for a single user, and $30 for up to five installations in a private household.

As long as Quark continued to sell their software instead of forcing you to rent it, the way Adobe does, it will always be the superior choice.

@pastusza, superior choice for who? For a business, it's just another monthly expense in the operating budget. From an accounting standpoint, this could be advantageous.

Quark = yawn. The only thing superior about it is how they screwed their customers UNTIL InDesign, and they haven't been able to catch up since.

QuarkXPress 2015 offers 64-bit architecture, PDF/X-4 output, interactive eBook production, and more, on a perpetual license for up to two Mac/Win machines! If you have Adobe InDesign documents, you can convert them to QuarkXPress 2015, by using Markzware's ID2Q for QuarkXPress 2015 XTensions. So, now, both InDesign and QuarkXPress users can take advantage of the new features in QuarkXPress 2015.

So, I'd have to spend an additional $200 for an app to convert ID files to QXP? No thanks.
