Apple's Beats brand has revealed a refresh of the Pill wireless speaker line. Called the Pill+, the new model with a refined design ships in November, and utilizes Apple's Lightning port for charging. Alongside the new speaker, the company has also unveiled a new app, which will be released with the speaker in November.
Audio quality is improved over previous models through a two-way active system, with amplifiers built in to the speakers. Battery life is estimated to be up to 12 hours, with a charge to full capacity in three hours. The new application allows users to pair two Pill+ speakers together for stereo separation, or simultaneous play. The speaker weighs 0.745kg (1.6 lb), and is 63mm (2.5 in) in height, and comes in black or white.

Beats Pill+ retails for $230, and will be available for purchase at Apple.com and authorized Beats retailers beginning in November.
