gifs with movement in outlook...how?

Hi fellow friends. I have problem sending gifs with movement in outlook 5.
I try sending the mail back to myself, but no movement. Whats wrong?

there may not be anything wrong with the gifs themselves. maybe oe just doesn't animate them? try opening the gif in your web browser.

Does`nt anyone now how to send/recieve gifs with movement in outlook?
Ok, hmm does it work for you?
I now it worked in netscape, but do I dont want to switch program.

my guess is that it just plain doesn't work. they probably didn't add support for animated gifs, since they're rarely used except for buttons, ads, and sigs. sorry. write to microsoft about it. i'm sure they'll respond quickly.

Hmmm, what is wrong?
In the internet control panel under advanced.
What application is gifs set to use? Can this be the problem?
Mine is set to picturewiewer.....
