I already posted in the software section about this issue but I wanted to know if anybody else owning a 15" has the same problem...

I tried downloading MAME off of macmame.org yesterday, and tried installing it, but it refuses to work. I keep getting either of the following messages with the 0.74 version of the MAME emulator that's currently posted:

1) no mountable file systems
or
2) codec overrun

I don't think it is OS-related (at least it might not be), b/c I have the same version of panther installed on my BW g3 and it works fine (OS 10.3.1).

The current place I'm having trouble with is installing it onto a 15" albook running OS 10.3.1.

Could the problem be hardware-related? Highly unlikely but like I said, wanted to see if anybody else is having the same problem.
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!
