i would like to know if there is a way to open .dmg file under OS 9.2.2

If you havn't done an archive search yet (as I'm sure the answer to this question is under several past topics):

You simply need to get the most current version of disk copy. There is a(n indirect) download link below...

Disk Copy 6.33 can't mount .dmg files.
