I have a cable modem running ethernet to airport. My main computer's access is ethernet and internet access is fine.
I can't get wifi though through laptop and iMac. The airport is recognized when I open airport utility but I get an error (-5) when I try to open the settings for the base station.

What is error -5?
Is there a way I can reset airport or at least troubleshoot to see if I have a bad base station?

Thanks!

what model airport do you have and does Software Update tell you to update your airport and airport utility software or firmware?

I have airport extreme n base station

Software update includes:
3/6/09 Airport client update 2009-001 ver. 1.0
3/6/09 Airport Utility Software update 2009-001 ver. 5.4.1

I really can't say if I lost wifi after that last update or if it was more recent.

Thanks
