So yesterday I started noticing some weird stuff happening with my ipod. I've had it for just over a year now with no major problems but all of a sudden it kept turning on and off like going back to the apple screen and restarting. Then if I tried to put it into sleep mode it would come up to the power off screen. I plugged it in after it went into an infinate loop of restarting and it said in Itunes that it was unreadable and must be restored. So I did that hoping it would help and It hasn't seemed to do anything other then let it sinc with my computer. Everytime I hit the power/sleep button this problem starts though and it doesn't seem to be sticking or anything like that. I have no idea if this could have caused it but I just got a new Itrip for it and it seemed to start just after using it for the first time. Any theories or comments would be great. (btw my warrenty just went out in Sep.)

Has it ever gotten wet or even a little damp? Could be corrosion on the connectors.

I'm begining to wonder if dust may have gotten into one of the conections between the buttons and the wire and caused this. Any theories?
