I'm debating whether to buy the 2 x 2Ghz PowerMac or the 2 x 2,5Ghz one.
One of my main concerns is noise. I know the 2,5Ghz version is liquid cooled.
Does this mean it is quieter in operation?
I work in a quiet environment and will also use the PM as a media center, so noise is an important concern.
Thanks for your advice.

hello friend of tokyo!

i just bought the 2.5 it is definitely very quiet. I also hate noisy machines, especially since i was working my PB 17 which was quiet as ****.

I dont know about the noise of the 2.0. Go to Ginza apple store i would say even though its so noisy that you will think both machines are very quiet
its a fact that im dope.

Thanks!

The store in Ginza is great - went there yesterday. Had the feeling that one half of the world's population was there with me too!

I recommend this guy:

Keisuke Yokoyama

Very good sales guy if you are interested of buying there. I should advise you to avoid other Yodobashi Camera and co since they a bit dodgy when it comes to Apple products.

Greets
