Why does it say I'm a junior member?

[edit: never mind, it seems to have fixed itself. Also, the "preview" button doesn't have a label, so you don't know what it is unless you press it.]

It did, but as soon as I posted it was fixed. On a related note, the edit function doesn't seem to be working as almost immediately edited my post in this thread. And, the "preview" button doesn't have a label, so you can only tell what it is through experimentation.

[edit: sigh, never mind about the editing not working, as soon as I made this post, the edit showed up on my previous one...]

If your stars are borked in another thread, please post here so I can see if the problem occurs when your file has been updated.

The Post Preview button is messed up here for some reason (it was fine when we were testing it elsewhere), so we've disabled preview until we can get that fixed. Should be in the next few days...MOST odd bug.

I feel so slighted! I no longer seem to have a member status below my name! Is someone planning on rubbing me out, and I don't know about it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Edit: really, honestly! A thread I started about Apple being at the DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival) didn't show my member status! Must be all that loud techno music from the first day of the festival that's addling my brain!

as for smilies, they'll be coming. there are a few things that have yet to be configured properly and enabled in the control panel.

I have a suggestion. If you are going to implement new smileys run a thread where people submit them and vote for them.

The buttons when editing your profile don't have any labels. Also, though I'm not aware of having changed anything that would affect it, after editing my profile I no longer see the "recent visitor" thingy. Was it just turned off for some reason, or did I do something to hide it?

As an aside, is there a particular reason that the years for birth date end at 2012?

[edit: after posting the recent visitors thing has returned for whatever reason]

As for Recent Visitors, I was playing around and accidentally turned it off.

Eek! It crashed OmniWeb. I don't think that has ever happened here. Oh well, you never really can find out why Omni crashes. At least it rarely happens! I like the new features. I just hope people don't go "poll crazy".
