There are many retarded people on MacNN, but in my experience with teh interweb, there are other forums which are much worse. I have tried to include the major Mac forums in this poll, but feel free to reply with anything I left out.

Edit: bloody VB3 didn't let me post my poll. Anyhow, here are the options:

Macrumors
ThinkSecret/Applenova
AnandTech
Macworld
Apple Support Forums
Spymac
Macnn

I would say that its a tie between Macrumors and Spymac

Hey - you tfel tuo eht llop.
Isn't it clearly Spymac? Born in disgrace, and only downhill from there?

Or is the right answer: whichever one you spend the most time on, because if you think about it, spending hours and hours at any Mac site is pretty retarded.

spymac and mac users forum both pretty much suck.

spymac because of the kids, and MUF because the admins are retarded.

I only visit two forums: 'NN and Ars. They are both very far from sucking, though they do have their little dumbass moments and users.

Same here. Arstechnica seems to have an older, more mature user base, but sometimes it seems like the complete opposite.

SpyMac, of course.

macosx.com used to be decent a few years ago. Older, wiser people. Similar to some of the communiy feel here, but the owner of the site sold out big time. Now, they try and market it as helpful Mac advice, while every other posts seems to be about making donations to the site. It really jumped the shark.

Spymac. Such a dichotomy of beautiful website design and relatively incoherent conversation within.

By beautiful, you mean loud, obnoxious and difficult to follow? Well, at least the design matches 99% of the threads there.

It's well designed in terms of all the different services (Gallery, Auctions, Mail, Forums, etc...) being tied together in a useful way. I still like to browse the gallery from time to time. I think it's very well done.

ThinkSecret's rumors are usually `quite' reliable.

Spymac was the worst, but they completely changed to a business.
