Is it possible to add next/previous functions to the toolbar in mail?
Or is there a keyboard shortcut.
It's just that it gets on my wick having to constantly scroll-point-click to read my unread mail.

You can customize the toolbar if you dig into the pull-down menus. Keyboard controls are limited so far.
