Where are Epson Scanner drivers?

I haven't heard word one since October when they promised a release of native drivers by 2002. Booting classic just to scan is a major pain in my assets. C'mon yous guys!

Well, January comes and goes and still no Epson Scanner Drivers for OS X...Epson, wake up!!!

According to Epson's website, drivers for my 1250 will be available before the end of January. Oops, it Feb!
Unfortunately, VueScan does not support my 1250 and will not for a few months at least.
Anyone heard anything about beta drivers even?

Yes, this is truly a disgrace. I stopped believing the Epson people believe in OS X long time ago. How hard can it be to port scanner drivers?

At least thanks to vue scan, we can use most of epson's scanners, but it sure would be nice if Epson released some OS X drivers for their scanners.

Huh? Epson does have OS X drivers for some of their scanners. Nothing yet for my Perfection 1200U, but their website also says to keep checking back, as they will be adding drivers for more models.

They are probably waiting on PhotoShop. They must figure the majority of us use photohop to scan. Does that mean we also have to wait for a TWAIN driver?
