Hello,

in initially setting up Eudora I selected the use keychain optionn by mistake: is there any way I can deselect this so i don't have to enter my passwork several times to check my mail?

Ive taken the apple keychain elements out of my system, the ones I can find with search, but it doesn't seem to make a difference and i dont' see a place to deselect it in eudora.

thanks rortus

If you trash the following files within your "Preferences" folder, you should be unchained.

Keychain Access Prefs file
any files in the Keychains folder
Multi-User Prefs file
any files or folders in the Multi-User Items folder
Then, follow the instructions posted at Qualcomm's site.

Macintosh System Keychain and OS 9 - Document ID: 1866HQ

We have received quite a few calls and email messages regarding the System Keychain feature in Macintosh OS 9.

Eudora 4.2 or later implements System Keychain support in conjunction with Mac OS 9. If you do not wish to use the System Keychain for password storage, copy and paste the following into any new message:

<x-eudora-setting:275=n>

Double click the active link and hit "Set Setting". Eudora will no longer use the System Keychain for password storage.
