We have a Pro-Tools system running on a G4 733. I had to do a few installations to make it compatible with our Windows network (Like installing Dave 2.5 and all). What do you want ? At least, I got them to buy a Mac. (1 down, 257 to go)
Anyway, since then, I get this weird message on startup that the system can't find the USB Drivers for the Apple Pro Keyboard. The dialog window ask me if I want to look on the Internet to get the driver. Eventually it never finds it. Even if I get this message, the keyboard works flawlessly.
In hope of getting rid of this message, I updated the OS from 9.1 to 9.2.1 then to 9.2.2 and I still get the missing driver message.

Any clue?

Thank you,
Dany Lefebvre

The extensions mgr. should show a sort-of generic "USB Device Extension." Look to see if that's enabled, or disabled. If you can't find it at all, I can copy it to my iDisk for you.

Dany - Also, make certain that the "HID Library" extension is enable in your Extensions Manager.

Thanks,

I copied the USB Device Extension and the HID Library from my system at home to put in the ProTools at work tomorrow.
I asssume it will work. I'm just happy it's not a problem with a NT system because beside reinstalling everything it would probably take a few weeks to figure it out.

Thanks again.
