SEE: Times recommends: Alex Sink for U.S. House
” In the March 11 special election for U.S. House District 13, the Tampa Bay Times recommends Alex Sink.”
Who would have thought the Tampa Bay Times, who recommended with “enthusiasm”, Barack Obama for president in 2008 and was all in favor of Obamacare would not support Alex Sink? SEE: The Times recommends: Obama for President
”With enthusiasm, the Times recommends Barack Obama for president."
And who would have thought the Tampa Bay Times, even after witnessing the destructive policies of Obama, especially his Obmacare crap, would not continue to support Obama in 2012? See Obama for president.
"Without hesitation, the Tampa Bay Times recommends Barack Obama for re-election as president."
And who would expect the Tampa Bay Times to not get behind Alex Sink, who will fight tooth and nail to keep the American People under the heel of Obamacare? Surely the Tampa Bay Times which has a love affair with Obama and fundamentally transforming America into a socialist state, would never consider the people’s rejection of Obamacare and not endorsing Alex Sink, Obama’s and Nancy Pelosi’s carpet-bagger to Pinellas County, Florida.

If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon an Obama, welfare, food stamp, section 8 housing, college loan check, and now free Obamacare along with FREE BACON, we can blackmail them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s productive population enslaved to pay the bills ____ Obama’s Marxist Free Cheese Party, which is designed to establish a federal plantation and redistribute the wealth which wage earners, business and investors have worked to create.

So the editorial board of the Tampa Bay Times that endorsed the Democrat in the last two presidential elections is now endorsing a Democrat for a local congressional election. The same Democrat that it endorsed in the 2010 gubernatorial election that she lost by less than 1% of the vote. And in other news, water remains wet.

I'm not seeing the point in this post... Enough that I think I should point the OP to our Pol/War forum rules, specifically Rule 8. Post-and-run isn't quite the case here, but railing about a liberal-leaning paper endorsing a liberal-leaning candidate begs the question of why anyone is surprised, and what point johnwk is making by posting this information.

The very point of my post is to point out that the Tampa Bay Times is Obama's Amen Crowd and a supporter of Obama's agenda to fundamentally transforming America into a socialist/progressive country.

That kind of thing is nothing new. The idea it should be different is recent, and has apparently lived its life.
Have you ever noticed you have papers here and there called, say, "The Columbus Democrat"? That's not a nod to democracy, it was from when papers openly identified their political affiliation.
Then came along this 800 pound gorilla known as TV. In an attempt to save themselves, newspapers positioned themselves to serve a wider audience. This is all history now, as both mediums have readopted the old model in an attempt to fight this 800 pound gorilla known as the Internet.

I agree with you about our popular media being frustrated by the internet and people like me and you having an opportunity to take our big media to task when they use their platform as a weapon to advance a political point of view. The days of a sanitized and controlled flow of information are coming to an end and it frustrates the rats who were behind it, especially since their captive audiences now have a number of alternative sources to learn what is actually going on. The only way I see their survival is for them to start reporting the news and not attempting to make what is news.

...and?
Seriously, the point you say you're making is, to quote a math teacher I once had, "intuitively obvious to the most casual observer," and thus not really worth making a fuss over.

Your unsubstantiated opinion is noted.

Republican David Jolly beats Alex Sink in Florida special election
"The battle for Florida's 13th District seat is a prequel of sorts to the national fight this year over who controls Congress in the last two years of Obama's final presidential term. The House is expected to remain under Republican control. But in the Senate, Republicans are hoping to leverage Obama's unpopularity and his health care law's wobbly start to gain the six seats required to control the 100-member chamber."

Obamacare by consent of the governed, Article 5, our Constitution`s amendment process. Tyranny by a majority vote in Congress or a Supreme Court's majority vote
