Logic
"System requirements for Logic Pro 6 call for Mac OS X (news - web sites) v10.2 or higher or 9.1 or higher; G3/300MHz or faster; 256MB RAM; 350MB HD space. Logic Express 6 requires Mac OS X v10.2 or higher or 9.1 or higher; G3/250MHz or faster; 128MB RAM and 100MB hard disk space."

Garage Band

"System Requirements
Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
-600MHz G3 or faster required for GarageBand; G4 or G5 required for GarageBand software instruments
256MB of physical RAM"

Can someone please explain to me why Garage band needs a faster processor than Logic?
