i just wanted to know if anyone else's trackpad does this:
my trackpad scrolls fine, except when my finger is at the edge of the trackpad, then it just doesn't respond and acts like i'm not even touching the trackpad. I guess it's really not that big of a deal but it's kind of annoying if i'm scrolling and if my finger happens to be on the extreme left or right side of the trackpad it won't work.
The other thing i noticed is that if i'm in the process of scrolling and then move my fingers to the edge of the trackpad, it will continue to scroll for 5 or 10 seconds and then it will stop responding.

pretty weird or not?

sounds weird. reset your trackpad by placing your palm on it for about 5-10 seconds..see if that works

Same with me. My fingers need to be ~ 1/2 a finger's length from the side.

Not a big deal IMO.

I've found, at least on the older Titaniums, that the scrolling can be a pain on the track pad. It fritzes out and doesn't always work.
