First low level warning? What is it and How can I turn it on?

It appears to be System Profiler. By default there must be a first low level battery warning that is disabled.

Well, I have a PowerBook with OS 10.4.8 and I don't see anything like that in System Profiler.
So for my edification -- and possibly others as well -- could someone answer the question:

What are (were) we looking at?

Is that a "MacIntel" thing, or what?
Which program, etc., etc., THANKS.

System Profiler (Apple Menu->About This Mac->More Info->Then Click on 'Power' and look under Battery Information

I'm just trying to figure out why I'm not getting a 'Low-Battery' warning on my MacBook. It keeps shuttig OFF at 20% battery power, consistently, without any warning.

There's an entire thread on the issue including a few steps you can perform to try to solve the problem right here.

I understand that. I've posted many times in that thread with still no clear fix to this. The only one that makes any sense to me is the bring your MacBook in to the store and get them to change the battery. It seems the battery is the culprit. But I thought I'd post a question in the OS forum to see if anyone had a clue as to why this was happening. To see if it was a MacBook only or an OS issue.

Does that mean you tried all the trouble shooting steps I suggested and it still fails? If so, I'm very anxious to hear what Apple says when you say tell them you want a new battery. I'm not entirely convinced this is actually a hardware issue.
