Accessory maker Chil has introduced its Notchbook iPad Air folio today, offering its users a heavy grip and the ability to slide a hand through its sleeve portion. Intended for the iPad Air, the Notchbook is compatible with many other tablets of broadly-comparable dimensions. Featuring a platform that rotates 360 degrees, the Notchbook folio doubles as a stand for comfortable table viewing.

The Notchbook folio is constructed with high-grade padded leather, and is available in black, tan, teal, violet and "merlot." Its microsuede interior reduces the likelihood of incurring scratches. Priced at $40, the Notchbook folio for iPad Air can be purchased through various online retailers.

Evernote for iOS releases update featuring new customization options

Evernote, a popular notetaking and productivity app, has had a new update for its iOS app released today. Featuring the addition of customization options, its home screen is now available in three color themes: light, dark, and classic. Users can now add, remove and rearrange sections such as notes, tags, and notebooks, as well as choose to display or hide details for each section. Also included in the update are miscellaneous bug fixes and general improvements to the app's functionality. Evernote for iOS requires iOS 7.0 or later, and is free to download through iTunes. Additional features and storage are available as a premium subscription at $5 per month or $45 annually.
