It'd be an interesting fight, but ultimately one-sided. Ash's great advantage is his blue-collar willingness to throw down coupled with his complete lack of fear (or common sense, reason, etc). Although superior sword fighting skills and a plate mail hand don't hurt.
Besides, nobody is too threatening without limbs. Ash in three rounds.
