anyone have ipoddownload? would be nice not to have to back up my ENTIRE mp3 collection whenever i wipe the hard-drive and reinstall osx 10.3 or if i put tiger on it. (no ... not any frivolous use)

Yep. But I'm pretty sure there are still copies on people's computers that they might be willing to share.

iPoddownload is kind of slow. iPodRip is better, IMO.

what are the differences between the both of 'em

and yes .. that's why i posted this, i'm sure alot of macnn folks have it and they might be willing to share. apple doesnt allow him to post it up on his website for people to download... but i figured a macnn member wouldnt mind sharing a copy
