You know it's true.
The thing is, I don't recognize most of the current user names here. Who is whom these days?
Do we have a timeline?

Whoever's doing it now really sucks. He doesn't even check this place out on weekends, so he's not even going to notice this post.

One way to get ZERO serious replies in a forum is to ask a bunch of nerds to post pictures of themselves.
I would post pictures of myself, but they would all have to be about 4 years old since my aesthetic appeal has gone from "okay" to "oh my god, how does he even see with those eyebrows?"

P.S. On second look, Besson looks creepily like my high school calculus teacher. And he was a lech.
What's a lech? Does that word mean "awesome"? If so, thanks shufuimam! I'm touched that you think that I'm awesome. If it means something bad, then **** you...
Haven't shoved my trumpet up my ass, but the thought has crossed my mind.

Sorry shifuibutt, you already said that i'm awesome, so this is nullified. Officially.
You'll notice that this thread is official too, so don't even think of creating a counterfeit thread.

Hey, a few of us (what, three or four, now?) have actually posted pictures of ourselves.

In all seriousness, I think the last pick I have of myself is about 10 months old. I guess after you turn 30, you don't spend so much time taking pics of yourself.
The latest pic of me I have.
Here is a pic of me in my sexy lingerie
A pic of me playing Prince's original cloud guitar in the back rooms of the Smithsonian Institute back in 1999.
And a pic of me and my dog at my parents house a month before I had to put him to sleep.
He was such a good dog.
While I don't think of myself as a "beefcake stud" I did do modeling work for Sears when I was 18.
I do ok. But I realize I am no Fabio.
I don't care if people Photoshop my pic. They can't do anything worse than I have already done myself.
YA HEARD?!

You look kinda like Eddie van Halen in that pic. Although, I think you are probably a foot taller than him. Maybe it's all that guitar playing you do that causes the resemblance.
(PS: I've held the "Cloud" guitar but never played it. A friend and co-worker of mine was the curator of the electric guitar exhibit at NMAH and I did some minor work on the show. It was a fun exhibit.)

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I am 5'10" and a half. Not that tall. Not sure how tall Eddie is though.. I have a brother that is 5'6" so I should count my blessings.

It's a nice, well built guitar. But very small. We had to have "special passes" to get to walk around the back rooms of the Smithsonian. And many times we had to show them to people over the few hours we were there. I got to play a lot of guitars there actually.

Heh, they can start a new thread. I could post all the ones that have been done already. Some very well done an amusing, and others just hatefully trollish. Either way, it doesn't bother me. I mean look at the pic I posted above with my face on the X files chick's body.
I used to send that to people on IRC that thought I was a girl and wanted a "pic"

It's okay though, Kevin. It's obvious from the rest of the pictures that you don't ACTUALLY look like EG. No worries.

Moves or no moves, telling a girl she’s too bad is never a smart move.
