The Vibrant pop-ups (even on MacNN) are driving me crazy. How do you disable the sh** software once and for all. I have followed the so call directions only to have the pop-ups disabled for the current Safari session and back again the next session. Have not found directions at MacNN or on the web.

Thanks in advance.....

What is a "vibrant" pop up? Can you post a screenshot?

Safari Block.

I use it to remove in page adverts from the websites I visit. Some torrent sites or tech blogs have them a lot.

Download SafariBlock for Mac - Adds ad-blocking capability to Safari. MacUpdate Mac Browsers Software Downloads

You may find it helpful. And to add an ad you just right click and press block! After a while you wont have many if not any adverts! its great!

Thank you. SafariBlock apparently blocks the vibrant pop-ups. I personally believe this should be part of the application (you know, "Block Pop-up Windows).

I don't get any pop ups or pop unders on any MacNN site and I don't even have a blocker turned on. Like Tetenal asked, what's a vibrant pop up? How is it different than a pop up?
