Hi,

I ordered a Corsair 1GB PC2700 "System Select" stick of RAM (System Profile shows it as "PC2700U-30330") recently and have installed it into my 1.25ghz Powerbook. I'm running 10.3.9.

It was shipped with 2x 256MB modules, I have just replaced the upper module with the 1GB stick, and it shows up properly in the system now as a total of 1.25GB RAM.

It works beautifully, only problem I'm having is suspend; it seems 50% of the time the Powerbook will not wake up after it is closed for some time!

Any clues?

The RAM may not be totally compatible. All the recent Mac models are extremely picky about RAM quality and the RAM's internal configuration.
