Maybe a nice idea, but unlikely to join the club this late.
Only if gaming technology had a big change, another company could enter at a bearable risk.

Another platform would be too costly for games developers. At most Apple could update Apple TV to include an AppStore style interface for downloading puzzle games. With a multi-touch widescreen attached it could make for some interesting two player touchscreen games.
