OK - so it's a happy day in that I'm getting a new C2D iMac. But also a sad day in that with my wife's encouragement - and my agreement, the Mac Museum in the closet is closing. I've taken Apple up on their recycling offer when you buy a new machine, but thought I'd give any takers a shot before I did that. You need to at least make it worth my while, or recycling will be the path of least resistance
Anyone have any interest in the following:
Rev. A 'Franken-iMac'
Sonnet upgrade: 500 MHz G3 w/FireWire port (I'll also include have the original 233MHz G3 card with a little RAM on it)
Formac iProRaid TV card - TV and SCSI port
512MB RAM
6MB VRAM
45GB Hard Drive
Stock CD-ROM drive
The machine works, but the monitor doesn't display very bright colors. The Analog board was replaced at some point a few years ago and it hasn't seen much use since.
No Keyboard
No Mouse
I have some of the original CDs, etc.
I'm thinking $75 plus shipping, but make me an offer.
